LT Foreign Car Service expertly diagnosed and repaired, in less than a day, the electrical issues with my 2001 BMW 3301 that had knocked out my entire dashboard mechanism. LT also fixed my A/C malfunction, which was also caused by a wiring issue, rather than having to replace my entire A/C system. This is an honest shop, with reasonable pricing who provide first class expertise. They deserve all the business they can handle by owners of foreign motor vehicles. Do not be fooled by the lack of parking space at their location. The German tech shop which had been repairing my BMW for many years would not address the electrical issues to repair the dashboard of my 2001 330i because of the complexities and there were no guarantees they could fix it. All I got from LT Foreign Car Service were positive results, friendly customer service and a new No.1 auto repair shop for my BMW. I can not recommend LT Foreign Car Service highly enough!

I noticed I had a leaking exhaust near the cat at the front of the exhaust . Instead of telling me I needed the entire cat replaced, LT Informed me that the cat was working fine and that he could cut the bad portion out and do a welding job. This saved me a lot of money and LT was honest about it . I recommended him to anyone with a foreign who doesn't want to get hit in the head by the dealer or another dealer-like shop.

Outstanding. Trying to find a single word to describe my experiences with LT is hard but I think outstanding fits the bill. When you have an older German car that needs service, you don't want to go to the dealership as you know the effort will be half and the cost will double. Trying to find a good indy shop for German cars is nothing but stressful. However, my stress is over...LT is a great place and the only place I will take my car now for service. Had him do a valve cover gasket replacement and run codes on my BMW 135, service is always outstanding and prompt. Cost was much cheaper than the dealership and overall he is honest, helps explain the best he can, what the issue is and the best way to fix it.. He's also straight up honest when he can't fix something (TPMS) and tells me to run up to another shop. I found my BMW guy; outstanding work and service.

Lt is a great mechanic and trouble shooter, very easy to work with and up front with his estimates and sticks to it. I have a 2004 Audi A4 Avant 190,000 miles, a great car but at its age it needs some maintenance repairs. Over the last two years a lot of items needed attention. New clutch, AC, Alternator and Brakes. If I had not met LT I would not be driving my favorite car today. The first time I met LT I had an intermittent starting problem. LT has the latest diagnostic equipment and knows how to read it. In less than 5 minutes he solved the problem and replaced 2 sensors. While he was installing the sensors he connected a severed wire to my oil sensor at no charge. If you have an older Import you have got to meet LT. It is a little confusing finding the entrance since it is inside of the Public auto action lot. Just go into the showroom and ask for Lt.

I brought my vehicle to him yesterday morning because I had an issue with my exhaust, had a light out, and a loose fog light All which failed for my Virginia state inspection. He was so nice to access the problem and show me what was a matter. It was diagnosed that I had some rust on on the pipes which caused the leak. He took the time to evaluate the problem show me what the issue was and fixed everything. He is very fair in his prices and he is one of a kind an ace in his field. His work ethics is second to none. I found LT Foreign Car Service online a few years ago when searching for a specialist to repair my BMW. Since then LT has provided me with expert service at a reasonable cost compared to other shops and especially the dealer. Most recently he replaced the front struts and performed power steering service on our Volvo XC90 Sport. After diagnosis LT provided us with an estimate that was reasonable and completed the work exactly when he said it would be done, as always. Last year I required brake service for my BMW and again LT provided a reasonable estimate and completed the work on time. For myself, it is important to know who I am dealing with when I conduct business, especially when its our family transportation. LT is genuine honest and provides excellent guidance. I went to take to get my Lexus GS350 for an emissions inspection over the weekend in Chantilly, VA they told me it wouldnâ??t pass and said I had an exhaust leak and it would not pass emissions. I called up LT and he told me that they want money and we set up an appointment to meet at the shop on Monday. I arrived on Monday at 8:00 am and LT was waiting for me. He ran a test for me and said it will pass emissions and referred me to a place to take it to. I took his advice went to his recommended location and it passed. Everyone has to be very careful out here people are blood thirsty for for money and will lie and deceive you. LT is a person who you can count on and is a shining star! I was told that the timing belt was shot, no compression, and that I needed a new engine, $5000, $6000, terrible news. He asked several questions specific to the car not starting and basically he said he doesn't believe it too be a timing belt issue. I seldom write testimonials for people but I really felt the need to tell people about LT. I have a 2006 Audi A8L and I was told by the Audi dealer that I needed a new compressor at a cost of $2700.00. I called LT and asked him run a diagnostics on my car, when he did we found out the compressor was not bad. LT found out that just a fuse for the compressor was bad and he replaced it and did it all for $168.00. I want to stress something very important here LT had my car for 3 days and he easily could have said that it took him many hours to examine my car and charged me a much higher bill. I would have paid $1000.00 and not asked any questions but it just shows that LT is an honest man and you can believe he will get all my business in the future. I will also recommend him to all my family and friends. Honesty in the auto repair business is rare and LT is an honest man and that is saying a lot.

LT is the best BMW (or any German car) repair shop around. He also works on Japanese brands, but do now know about them. He is honest, friendly and thorough and his prices are MORE than REASONABLE. Think in terms of a fraction of what dealers charge. He used to have a shop in Manassas, but now works from home and mobile. He provides a written estimate prior to any repairs and sticks to it - no ticket shock when you pick up your vehicle. Recently I had a inspection problem on my car with a "competitors" garage (not LT Foreign Car Specialist), it failed,, I was handed an enormous list of advisory work that "apparently" required doing also. Under advice from another of LT Foreign Car Specialist's happy customers, who highly recommended them for trustworthiness and honesty, I asked for a second opinion about the advisory note and was shocked to find the $500 worth of work advised was not actually required at all, and all I really needed to spend was $80. Whenever I take my car to LT, I know that I will be given a fair price and assessment of the auto repairs needed. Most recently, the blower engine stopped working for the fan on my Q5, and Audi wanted to charge me an outrageous repair fee. So I took my car to LT. After a diagnosis, he said there was nothing more than debris around the fan. It worked perfectly after cleaning it. Subsequently, I was only charged the diagnostic fee, which was minimal compared to other shops. I have also had other auto repairs done for my BMW and my Audi in the past, but after getting quotes from other shops that wanted to overcharge me, I always go back to LT. You can't beat their pricing or service. I highly recommend LT!!!!

LT Foreign Car Repair is one of the best repair shops in Prince Williams County. I can say that because I have tried several local shops and by far his level of expertise is top notch. I have taken many of our cars (including wife and daughter's) to him with problems that most mechanics could not have been able to identify and fix. I had a foreign car that required a true technician, not a shade tree mechanic. Not only does he know how to repair a car back to to OEM specs, he also has the latest and greatest diagnostic tools and software to analyze exactly what is going on with an automobile. I've noticed many of the reviews left have stated that he was rude and blunt. I have never encountered such problems, but the reason some reviewers may have said this would be because of his strong Vietnamese accent. If you can look past this, you will receive top-notch quality service and care.
